Job Summary
Qualifications & Experience KCSE Certificate. Certificate or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field will be an added advantage. At least one year of experience in merchandising, sales, retail operations, or FMCG distribution is preferred.
Duties & Responsibilities
Sales Target Achievement Achieve allocated daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets within the assigned territory. Merchandising & Product Visibility Promote, merchandise, and sell company products to assigned retail outlets in line with approved sales and merchandising standards. Route Plan Execution Execute approved route plans to ensure effective outlet coverage and optimal product distribution. Stock Monitoring & Product Rotation Monitor stock levels, maintain accurate product inventory, ensure adequate stock availability, and support proper product rotation at assigned outlets. Pricing Compliance Verify and maintain correct pricing of company products and promptly report any pricing discrepancies. Shelf Presentation & Planogram Compliance Maintain high standards of product visibility, shelf presentation, cleanliness, and proper product placement in line with company guidelines and approved category planograms. Business Growth Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand market coverage and increase sales within the assigned territory. Customer Relationship Management Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers to enhance customer satisfaction and business growth. Reporting & Documentation Prepare and submit accurate daily field execution reports and other required sales documentation within stipulated timelines. Market Intelligence Monitor competitor activities, pricing, promotions, product availability, merchandising practices, and market trends, and provide timely feedback to management. Compliance & Asset Protection Comply with company sales policies, operational procedures, health and safety requirements, and the company’s Code of Conduct. Safeguard company products, merchandising materials, equipment, and other assets entrusted to your custody.
